Digitalist becomes the digital design partner for the Helsinki regional transport

Digitalist has been selected as a digital design partner for the Helsinki Regional Transport (HSL) framework agreement.

For the next four years Digitalist will supply HSL with services within service design, digital user experience, digital UI design as well as visual design.

The length of the framework agreement is two years, with an option for two additional years. The estimated investment size of the four-year period is 3,5 million euros. HSL selected a total of four vendors for the framework agreement.

Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) is a joint local authority whose member municipalities are Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kerava, Kirkkonummi, Sipoo, Siuntio and Tuusula. Some 370 million journeys are made on HSL’s transport services annually.

“We want to thank HSL for their trust in the award-winning digital design services of Digitalist. The framework agreement with HSL is a great example of our strength in public services design. The upcoming co-operation strengthens our client portfolio in our Travel & Transportation segment, where we already work with brands like Transport for London, ferry companies Viking Line and Color Line, and Finnair. It’s exciting to be developing high quality design-intensive services that enhance the lives of everyone in the Finnish Metropolitan area,“ says Ville Tolvanen, CEO of Digitalist.
